How does Allsupers.co.uk work?

Daily updated prices

Allsupers.co.uk compares daily updated prices from major UK supermarkets including Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's. All comparisons are based on the most recent available prices, including current promotions and offers.

Unit price comparison

Products are compared by unit price (price per kg, per litre or per piece). This makes it possible to fairly compare products of different pack sizes.

The calculation is: unit price = selling price ÷ quantity.

Example: a 1-litre carton of milk at £1.09 has a per-litre price of £1.09. A 2-litre carton at £1.89 has a per-litre price of £0.95 and is therefore cheaper per unit, even though the total price is higher.

Coverage

Allsupers.co.uk compares products from major UK supermarkets across 12 main categories and over 80 subcategories. Prices are updated daily, including current promotions.

What are lowest prices?

A lowest price is the cheapest unit price for a given product type, measured across all participating supermarkets. On each comparison page, Allsupers.co.uk shows which supermarket currently offers the best deal, expressed as price per kg, per litre or per piece. When promotions are active, the promotional price is used for the comparison.
