1. About the service

Allsupers.co.uk is a price-comparison platform for UK supermarkets. We collect, normalise and compare product data so consumers can compare prices and save. The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use by individual consumers.

2. Permitted use

You may use the website to:

• view and compare products and prices for your own use;
• share individual pages via a normal link;
• browse the service as an ordinary visitor would.

3. Database right and intellectual property

The compilation of product, price and image data on this website constitutes a database in which we hold the sui generis database right under the Database Directive (96/9/EC) as retained in UK law (the Copyright and Rights in Databases Regulations 1997). We have made a substantial investment in obtaining, verifying and presenting this data.

Product images generated by us (including our own illustrations and edits) are copyright-protected works. Retailer names and logos are the property of the respective retailers.

4. Prohibited use (scraping)

Without our prior written consent, you must not:

• extract, copy, re-utilise or store a substantial part of the database, or repeatedly and systematically do so with insubstantial parts ("scraping");
• use automated means (bots, crawlers, spiders, scrapers) to harvest data, other than search engines that respect our robots.txt;
• circumvent security measures, rate limits or access controls, or spoof user-agents to evade detection;
• use the data for a competing service or for commercial resale.

Breach of this clause is both an infringement of our database right and a breach of this agreement. We reserve all rights, including blocking access and claiming damages.

5. Commercial use of our data

Are you a retailer, researcher, journalist or business wanting to use our data? Please contact us — we offer datasets and partnerships under licence. Unauthorised commercial use is not permitted.

6. Accuracy and liability

We aim to keep prices current and correct but cannot guarantee accuracy: retailer prices may change. The final price at the retailer prevails. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of the website or from inaccuracies in the data.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
